Mission Statement
In my Motherland Kazakhstan there is a saying, "if you keep asking a stranger questions, you may find yourself related." When I was a little girl, I was fascinated by puzzles and enjoyed putting them together. There is such beauty in it. The process itself is admirable; it requires patience and complex thinking, with reward of excitement over bringing the pieces together, connecting them and seeing the final big picture.
When I created “Nomad Girl,” I channeled that inner little Nura, a girl who wanted to make art that unites people.
Nomad Girl is about bringing people together through art, conversations, and connecting with people near and far, opening doors to different cultures, traditions and places. The extensive nomadic life I've led has shown me that we humans have more in common with one another than we have differences, and that we are all doing our best while sharing our common home, Planet Earth. The mission of Nomad Girl is to bring together the People, a network where everyone is welcome, like-minded or not.
